Areas for Development
- ENERGY – Transmission & Distribution “Hardening” to create a Resilient System and minimize future hurricane losses from evermore and stronger Windstorms.
- COMMUNICATIONS AND DATA – Resiliency-focused enhancements to privately-owned Communications lifeline infrastructure. Build rapid, secure and accessible Communications which is necessary to build Data Storage and Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) Capabilities.
- WATER AND SEWER – Building, modernizing, or replacing water and sewer infrastructure to strengthen infrastructure in order to withstand high-risk hazardous activity resulting from potential disaster events that might threaten the stability of these assets. Partner with our local and federal stakeholders so that collectively we get the best quality and benefits from our water resources (including flood control, agriculture/irrigation, power, manufacturing, recreation, navigation, and water/wastewater storage, treatment, and distribution). Clean Water can also be used as a Competitive Economic Tool, including recycling wastewater which unfortunately is now cleaned and then dumped into the ocean.
- TRANSPORTATION – Strategically increasing the resiliency of the transportation lifeline corridors, including seaports, airports, and other maritime transportation.
- HEALTHCARE – Improving healthcare and medical facilities by enhancing, expanding, or developing buildings with innovative design and up-to-date permanent equipment.
