Subsectors & Compliance

1. FEMA GRANTS – maximize the use of federal grants by helping establish financing mechanisms to assist the Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands Government and Non-Profits in the quick deployment of logistics and workers to get the work “with obligated funds” built quickly and efficiently.
2. FLOOD CONTROL AND FLOOD PREVENTION – Building resilient infrastructure (civil and military), disaster response, and permitting (mostly related to Waters of the United States). Within resilient civil infrastructure, USACE focuses on flood risk management, coastal storm risk management, dams & hydro, deep water navigation, and ecosystem restoration (as it impacts water quality). Elevate structures where practical or required by law.
3. RECYCLING – Establishing recycling facilities and other eco-conscious infrastructure to divert waste from landfills. Enhance solid waste management (or sustainable management of materials) to minimize the health risks posed by overflowing landfills and unauthorized dump sites, worsened by hazardous events. Promote the recycling of garbage/waste to convert into ENERGY and uses, materials.
4. CYBERSECURITY – Cybersecurity Education to meet all new Federal Government requirements for contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers.
5. EDUCATION – Technical and University Education as a Competitive Tool, to attract universities campuses and students from the US and abroad.
6. FOREIGN TECH WORKERS – Offer Teaching Positions at Universities to H-1B Visa Applicants to help with their applications and have them relocate to Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
7. AFFORDABLE HOUSING – Foment Low Cost Affordable Housing for young workers in order for the Economy to grow it’s labor force…..which is BIG problem for all States right now.
8. BUILD INDUSTRIAL CAMPUSES – Convert old Industrial Buildings into Diversified “Campus Type” Communities mirroring the Planned Communities that are springing up all over the United States where resident can live, play, educate themselves and have access to medical care.
9. PROMOTE INTERAGENCY FUTURE INVESTMENTS AND EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS – Promote the establishment of a data base to connect all Government Agencies, Industries and Investments in Infrastructure for the benefit of a all citizens.
